Bistek Ranchero with Salsa Wallito

INGREDIENTS:

  • • 2 steaks (your choice of cut)

    • 1 poblano pepper, sliced

    • 1/4 onion, thinly sliced

    • 1 jar of Salsa Wallito (your choice of flavor)

    • Rice (for serving)

    • Beans (for serving)

    • Guacamole (for serving)

INSTRUCTIONS: 

1. Prepare the Ingredients:

• Slice the poblano pepper and onion.

• Season the steaks with salt and pepper (or any other preferred seasonings).

2. Cook the Steaks:

• Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.

• Add a bit of oil to the skillet.

• Add the steaks onion and poblano to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach medium-rare (internal temperature of about 130-135°F).

• Pour the jar of Salsa Wallito over the steak and vegetables.

• Stir to combine and let simmer for about 2 minutes to heat through and blend flavors.

 Serve:

• Serve the Bistec Ranchero with rice, beans, and guacamole on the side.
